  7. Three illustrations used to create the puzzle demos are provided in EPS
  8. (Encapsulated PostScript) format. These illustrations, saved as Adobe
  9. Illustrator 1.1 files, can be opened in a draw programs (such as Corel
  10. DRAW, Illustrator, and FreeHand) and manipulated. Or they can be placed
  11. as-is in page layout programs (such as PageMaker and QuarkXPress). EPS
  12. images can also be opened in Adobe Photoshop, but they will be converted
  13. to bitmap form. Their filenames end in .EPS.

  15. PAGE LAYOUT TEMPLATES

  17. Two page layout templates used to create the text-heavy and text-light
  18. newsletters are provided in two file formats: 
  19.  
  20. ò PageMaker: These files are saved in PageMaker Version 6 and their
  21.   filenames end in .PM6. 
  22.  
  23. ò QuarkXPress: These files are saved in QuarkXPress Version 3.32 and
  24.   their filenames end in .QXT.
